Director, Corporate & Affiliate Partnerships

Department: Leads : Lead Sourcing
Location:

Job Summary

The Director, Corporate & Affiliate Partnerships is responsible for identifying, establishing, and managing strategic partnerships with companies across sectors that share an affinity with our main product, life insurance (e.g. real estate, finance). The role will initially focus on partnerships that quantifiably result in leads for clients interested in life insurance, either through direct-to-consumer exposure, integrated service offerings, or onboarding to our network of approved pay-per-lead vendors.

The ideal candidate has consistently demonstrated the ability to network effectively and successfully negotiate and close long-term, high-impact business relationships in a related industry throughout their career. There is a strong preference for candidates with a track record of establishing ROI-producing marketing or affiliate partnerships, ideally with exposure to lead generation or lead marketplace models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify promising companies for partnerships – looking both in adjacent markets (e.g. real estate, finance) and outside the box.

  • Successfully establish contact with (typically hard-to-reach) key stakeholders, cultivate and maintain high-impact relationships, and network strategically to create opportunities.

  • Lead negotiations and structure partnership agreements that drive long-term value for the company.

  • Monitor partnership performance and optimize, renegotiate, or evolve business integrations using data-driven decision-making and relationship management.

  • Carefully monitor the main KPIs for this role: number of leads generated from partnerships, cost per lead, and downstream lead performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; equivalent work experience will also be considered.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a related role.

  • Proven track record in building and managing high-impact partnerships.

  • Experience and existing contacts with industries related to life insurance (e.g. real estate, finance) is highly preferred.

  • Experience with lead generation as a partnership goal is a bonus.

  • Strategic thinking and creative insight; able to identify and pursue high-value opportunities effectively.

  • Proven track record of networking and relationship building with key stakeholders, leading to the successful establishment of high-impact partnerships (preferably in a related industry and/or with the goal of lead generation; an existing rolodex of industry contacts is a huge plus).

  • Strong communication and presentation skills; capable of conveying value propositions to executive-level stakeholders.

  • Deep experience working cross-functionally to align teams, resources, approvals in support of partnership creation.

  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
